Of course I knew I had to do a valentines card. Luckily this card came to me straight away and I had to use my heart embossing board!

I hope you all like this card! Should be up soon :)

New cards... Valentines!

Hey all!
I've made a really gorgeous card that I really need to show you all. Of course I'm on the valentines band wagon now, but I really wanted to give this one a post of my own. So here it is!
"I love moo" really would like a home this valentines day. Do you love someone who would love to giggle to this card? I made this using a new embossing board (it came today and I had to try it out) and some new cardstock. Cows came to my mind straight away.
EDIT: This card is now on Etsy! Take a Peak: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/179571682/dry-embossed-cow-themed-valentinesi-love?ref=listing-shop-header-2

I've also made another cute card which I want to give a little mention...

I hope you've enjoyed my post today! See you soon.

Just another day at the office

Hey all!
Well now that my clear out of my magazines has started, I've decided to devote this post to the amount I've made recently (bare in mind this was in one day!).
This little cutie was such a doddle to make! Created in about 30mins Percy the penguin (cute but tired however) is now sat on my desk waiting for my best friend to take him home. I love creating with felt and I think the quick but professional outcome is awesome.
Now you all know how much I love my jewellery! When I found a tutorial to make a version of this necklace, I knew I had to make it my own. Created with beads and ribbon from my crafty creative boxes, add a few extras and this beauty was born! A great present for my boyfriends sister.
Of corse I had to include a few cards! This lovely card (of the slim variety which I used to use a lot) was created using my new heat gun. I love using gold embossing powder! It brings out the key designs so well. Unfortuantly this card has sold already, however the design could be replicated.
This card was only made tonight so I'm kind of cheating with this one! But here is one of my few valentines cards. This design was drawn up whilst at my boyfriends house the other day and I've been itching to make it ever since. The colours work so well together and these heart doilys just jump out to be used for valentines!

Thank you so much for reading.

1920's cards!

Hey all!
I made quite a few cards last night so here is a short post with the others that I made.
This card is made with the docrafts 1920's themed range and I must admit it makes very grown up cards. I love how you can make very flamboyant but cute cards quickly with this range. Of course I would give this to a female, however you could make one for a male too.

This is the third valentines card I have made and am getting a few comments on them now. I love how the green flower pops out from the background in this design.

Coming up tomorrow is The Shabby Tea Room competition! Can't believe it's been a week already.

Thanks for reading.

All loved up

Good morning all.
Now that the Christmas card making period is over (well for me anyways!), I've decided to turn to the next season, Valentines!
This morning (around 8am, I'm always up early) I decided to start with two simple forever friends cards. I love docrafts forever friends valentines collection. It's so easy to make simple but striking valentines cards from.
This simple yet amazing layout was featured in Docrafts Creativity magazine (amazing magazine if you love docrafts products). I had to give it a go with my own twist. Seen as I still haven't got my bigshot die cutting machine yet, the scalloped edges became circles. I also added roses as a loved up touch.
After a little break I also used another pattern to make this design. I'm not too sure on the look of this card, too many sentiments if you ask me. But it was well worth the try.

Have you started your valentines cards yet? Even thought about it yet? I have no idea what to get for my boyfriend, but I do have 2 months to go!

Thank you for reading!
