The Shabby Tea Room- Week #207

Hey everyone,
Just another combined short post today, only because I'm having to use my fathers laptop. Currently I have broken my laptop and my phone so connecting to the internet is a real problem, however I am here and writing to you!
This weeks Shabby Tea room project is right up my street! Its names "Wishi Washi", heres the picture we were given:

I adore this photo! Washi features mostly in my scrapbooking and smashbooking, so adding to my cards was a new concept to me. Of course I'm adding my Shabby Tea Room pieces with MojoMonday sketches. Heres this weeks:

The idea of using a tall and skinny card has hit me before and I have tried using them, however the dont sell as well as I thought they would. However, being as keen as I am to do these challenges, I took the bull by the horns and made this!

EDIT: Here is the card on etsy!

Of course I couldn't finish this post without showing you all my little haul that came through the post from Hobbycraft.

I bought myself some more card bases (square and c5), Mothers day themed flower decopatch, Gems, pearls and Tim Holtz Distress Ink. This made my day when I was feeling so yucky!

Thank you for reading today!

Evening all

Good evening everyone!
I hope your all having a lovely weekend, I've had a fantastic one. Yesterday unfortunately I was working but got to finish early :D My weekend of relaxation then started. I've watched movies, eaten chocolate, seen my boyfriend and made things! My clear out session is still in progress too.

Today my sister, boyfriend and I all pitched in to make a gingerbread house. My sister is in competition with her friends to make the best so here is our entry! I must admit I ate a lot of icing today. Do you like it?
(Yes that's my boyfriend hiding behind the house!)

I also decided that seen as this Christmas I don't have a new dress to wear on the big day, I needed to make myself a piece of jewellery. I made a batch of resin pendants when I tried resin a few months back and decided to use this flowery pendant for Christmas. Add a few charms and some suede cord and you have a cute little necklace.

I hope your weekend ends great!
